Every photo from the party. One album.
You start it, guests scan a code and shoot from their own phones, and the whole night lands in one place. No group chat, no AirDrop, no chasing people for the good ones.
Three steps, and the host does two of them
Pick a look. Make the night yours.
Warm flash, soft film, or after-dark color. Try a look — the photos change with it.
Your photos. Your people.
Does everyone need to install the app?
You do, as the host. On iPhone, a guest scans the sign on the table and shoots from an App Clip — nothing to install and no account. Android guests install the app, which is free.
Do iPhone and Android guests end up in the same album?
Yes. One album, one roll, both platforms writing into it live.
How long does the album stay open?
You decide. A party has an opening time and a closing time, both set when you create it, and both enforced on the server rather than on anybody's phone. The code works days ahead — before the album opens it simply takes no photographs. You can also end it early. Once it is over, nothing new arrives and the roll is yours to keep.
What do I get to decide as the host?
Two things beyond the theme. Whether guests may add photographs at all — off makes the album your own, with everybody else watching. And whether a guest sees the whole roll or only their own shots — off is a party where nobody sees it until you open it up, which is a different evening from one where the wall fills in front of you.
Can I delete a photo I hate?
Anyone can withdraw a photograph they took themselves. As the host you can delete anything in your album, and you can remove a person from it — which takes their photographs with them. Anyone at a party can also report a photograph: it leaves the party immediately and is set aside for review, not the other way round.
Do photos lose quality?
No — originals upload at full resolution in the background. But the look is baked in at the shutter, on purpose: what the guest saw in the viewfinder is what everybody else sees, on every phone. That is the one thing you cannot undo afterwards.
Is it free?
Your first hosted party is free, with unlimited photos and guests. Hosting another party or setting up a photobooth requires Fete+. Joining a party is free. There is no advertising in Fete and no tracking across apps or websites.
